Swedish Egg Puff

Base serves 2 with leftovers β€” slide to scale the ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450Β°F.
  2. Place your baking pan in the oven to heat up.
  3. Add butter to the pan to melt before pouring in the batter.
  4. In a bowl, mix milk, eggs, flour, salt, and honey until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the preheated pan.
  6. Bake for 12-14 minutes, depending on the size of the pan, until fluffy and golden brown.
  7. Serve immediately plain or with maple syrup.

Notes:

  • Use a stoneware cookie sheet for best results.
  • Adjust honey to taste for sweetness.
  • Yield: 8-10 pieces.
