Bagged Ravioli with Butter Sauce (Veg + Meat Option)

A super simple, quick dinner that works for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Use store-bought ravioli (cheese, spinach, or meat-filled) and a classic butter sauce. Add-ins like peas, mushrooms, or crispy prosciutto are optional.

Ingredients

  • 1–2 packages fresh or frozen ravioli (cheese/spinach for veggie, meat-filled for meat eater)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, basil, or sage), chopped, for garnish
  • Optional: peas, mushrooms, crispy prosciutto or bacon

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package directions. Drain, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic (if using) and sautΓ© until fragrant.
  3. Add cooked ravioli to the skillet, tossing gently to coat. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmesan, salt, pepper, and herbs. Add any optional mix-ins.
  5. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a split meal: cook both cheese/spinach and meat ravioli in separate pots, then toss each with butter sauce.
  • Kid-friendly and ready in 15 minutes!
